Like the cygnet which thought it was a duckling, Elijah lived comfortably in the knowledge that he was an extrovert for some years after being introduced to concepts of behavioural science. Having lived so long in an environment where "Just get it done!" was the daily commandment, he took such labels in stride even as he constantly mused on what they meant. The realization that his manifested behaviours actually tended more towards introversion didn’t come in the form of a wake-up call, it was just another fact to be filed away and used where appropriate. His focus remained on lifelong character development.

He is known to emphasize Substance over Form. Other than that, contrary to popular belief, he does not drive a yellow school bus and is not a walking encyclopaedia.
